Students will come into the library and we will go over class/library expectations. I will have students log into their chromebooks and bring up our Destiny Library Services program. Students will spend some time checking out/refreshing their minds with this program, then seach for books that interest them. After everyone has checked out, they will have the remainder of class to read.

During the first 10 minutes, students will come into the library and exchange their books and enjoy some quiet reading time. Once every has checked out new books and read for a bit, we will read a short story called 7th grade. Students will have been given a number 1-5 and will break out into small groups taking turns to read this short story. Once they have finished reading this story, they will answer the comprehension questions. This will take up two class periods.
