See HR for I9 Verification: New Hires are required to meet with an HR representative to verify their I-9 documents within 3 work shifts from their start date. List of eligible documents here.
HR will send a calendar invite to the new hire and copy your supervisor.

Submit your new hire benefits elections in Munis ESS:
If your position is benefits eligible, benefits will be effective on the 1st of the month following your start date. Benefits Enrollment must be completed within 30 days of your start date.

If enrolling spouse or children to any benefits, you must submit documentation for dependent spouse/legal partner and children here.

Required Training's during your Introductory Period are assigned to you by Human Resources and Information Technology Department and you must check them off as completed in Munis ESS:
1. ICS 100:
Required for all Employees.
Assigned by Human Resources Department, information sent via email.
2. ICS 200:
Required for Supervisors and up.
Assigned by Human Resources Department, information sent via email.
3. Harassment Prevention:
Assigned by Human Resources Department, information sent via email.
4. Cyber-Security:
Assigned by Information Technology Department

Munis Employee Self-Service (ESS) is Pitkin County's Financial and Human Resources System. This is where you will enroll in benefits, complete your time-card, update your personal information, request time off, view your pay-stub and many other items.
Trakstar is Pitkin County's Performance Management System. This is where you will complete your Introductory Period Evaluation and store all of your training certificates.
Kantola is Pitkin County's Learning Management System. This is where you will complete your Harassment Prevention Training. You will receive an email with your log-in information. Your completed certificate must be uploaded into Trakstar within the first six months of employment.
Incident Command System (ICS) Training. As a government employee, you are now responsible for helping with emergency planning and response or recovery efforts. ICS-100 is for all employees and ICS-200 is for Managers and above. Your completed certificates must be uploaded into Trakstar within the first six months of employment.
KnowBe4 Training. As a government entity we are at risk for cyber-security attacks and this series of training will help you understand our protocols and requirements. You will receive an email from the system for these training's. Your completed certificates must be uploaded into Trakstar within the first six months of employment.
