90% of parents indicate that their family participates in the Pi STEM community STEM engagement activities, including project expo, STEM nights, and other STEM activities sponsored by Pi STEM and community partners. Survey was from May 2020.
Parent Feedback regarding the McCall Outdoor Science School experience for their child., when asked if they would recommend the experience to another family. Note: We have tried to send students to MOSS the last two years, but have had to cancel due to COVID complications.
Parent Feedback regarding the expansion of our First Robotics programs to all grade levels, including Lego League Discover to Kindergarten; maintaining Lego League Explore for 1st-3rd; expanding Lego League Challenge to all 4th-6th grade students; and adding First Tech for middle and high school students. It was explained that this would all students to take part in high-quality robotics instruction and those that show interest could become part of competitive teams starting in 4th grade. Parent Feedback regarding the possibility of integrating 4-H into instruction at Pi STEM. It was explained to them that possible opportunities could be the introduction of animal science, plant science, technology, and more. All students would take part in high-quality instruction and those that show interest could become a part of competitive teams starting in 3rd grade. It was explained that this program is still at the discussion level and that we were taking feedback on if this is something that Pi STEM should pursue. It was also noted that the program would take several years to build out if it was taken on.
