STEM learning experiences at Project Impact STEM Academy integrate all STEM disciplines with an emphasis on processes and practicses associated with STEM. Examples:
Students integrate their science knowledge to implement and construct engineering solutions.
Students use technology and engineering to program robots to complete challenges.
Students use math to measure and test recipes, while in science they focus on the changes in states of matter within the recipes.
Students create scientific drawings in art class.
Students formulate and test a conjecture in mathematics, "I believe that ____ is the maximum number of rubber bands that will allow Barbie to safely jump from a height of 400 cm."
Students build and investigate various factors of their ecosystems.
Students construct a prosthtetic limb for a dog.
