Weekly Message from Mrs. Owens for Band and Chorus

Dear Band and Chorus Families, 

I hope everyone is rested after having a break last week.  This week's schedule is as follows:

Monday, October 20 - 3:00-5:00 - Chorus Rehearsal - I have signed us up for the homecoming parade.  Anyone with a truck and trailer willing to drive the chorus in the parade.  I will have to walk with the band.  

Tuesday - October 21 - 3:00-5:00 - Concert Band - Basketball season is coming up.  We will hand out flip-folders and lyres and show you how to use them.  We will practice music that we will be playing at the games and the homecoming parade.

Wednesday - October 22 - 3:00-4:30 - Percussion Rehearsal - We will work on parts for The Victors, and a Cadence.  If there are any parts that you are unsure of for pep band, we will work on that too.

Thursday, October 23 - 3:00-5:00 - Symphonic Band - We will finish passing out lyres and flip-folders and go over parade music and pep band music.  

Friday, October 24 - We are participating in the PEAK Fall Festival from 6-8 at the k-3 campus.  I will send out another email regarding the donations for this event and the time to set up.
