Dear Chorus and Band Families,
Last week was unusual, but we got a lot of work done toward our concert. Everyone is putting in a lot of hard work. Keep up the great work.
This week we have our final regular rehearsals before our concert. We need everyone to be there.
Monday, December 8 - Chorus Rehearsal - 3:00-5:00 We will have one more rehearsal after today before the concert. We still have a long way to go. Please make sure you are at both of the final rehearsals.
Tuesday, December 9 - Concert Band Rehearsal - 3:00-5:00 - This is our last rehearsal before the concert next week. Please make sure that you are practicing every day and that you are at this rehearsal.
Wednesday, December 10 - Percussion Rehearsal - 3:00-4:30
Thursday, December 11 - 3:00-5:00 - Symphonic Band - We need everyone at this rehearsal. This is our last rehearsal before the concert.
Friday, December 12 - Pep Band Performance - This is our Homecoming Game. Everyone should be in attendance this evening! This is one of the most important games for us! This evening we will be playing at 2 games: JV Boys and Varsity Boys. We will meet in the Band Room directly after school. We will warm-up, tune and march to the gym at 4:00. The JV Boys game begins at 4:30, the Varsity Boys game is scheduled to begin at 6:00. Since the Homecoming Court will also be presented this evening, we will plan for pick-up to be at 8:00. The band should wear band polos and khaki pants to all games. Please make sure your child has money for concessions since we are not having an opportunity to go home between school and the games.
Performance Schedule:
Winter Concert - Tuesday, December 16
December 15-19 - We will not participate in basketball games this week.
Wednesday, January 7 (possibly senior night)
Monday, January 26
Playoff games to be determined.
