High School Band

Week of January 12- January 16

Band handbook signatures are now late. Please turn these in this week. 

This week we will begin work on the B-flat concert scale.  Those who tested on this scale last semester will be given specific benchmarks to meet with this scale to improve your peformance. 

We will be continuing to sight-read potential concert music to strengthen our sight-reading skills and to logically determine how reasonable these pieces are for concert and symphonic band.  We will use knowledge of range, rhythms, etc. to analyze each piece.

Students will also be given independent practice time to work on their band karate levels.
