Middle School Weekly Updates and Reminders - 9/28/2026

1. Tuesday, September 29-- Classical Learning Test (CLT)

Middle School students will take this test in the morning and follow an alternate schedule. The CLT exam assesses language arts and mathematics with content designed to engage students’ imaginations and problem-solving skills. It will not be used in Infinite Campus, and students do not need to study beforehand. The results will give teachers valuable insight into how our students are progressing in our classical curriculum.

   1. Medication

If possible, parents/guardians should administer medications before or after school. If a student needs to take medication during the school day, parents must submit a signed Medication Form from the child’s physician. Parents/guardians must send medications to school in a sealed, original container labeled with the following information.

1. The student’s name and grade

2. The name of the medication 

3. The amount of the medication to be taken 

4. The time the child is to take the medication

2. Authorized school staff must administer ALL medication. Students are responsible for going to the office at the appropriate time to receive medication. Parents are responsible for the following: providing a signed medication form, bringing medications to the school, and picking up any leftover medications at the end of the school year.  If your child attends an overnight field trip, bring the medicine to the school one week before the trip, and have a medication form signed for the trip.

3. PCA will use Infinite Campus as its SIS grading platform again this school year. If you do not have access, please email adeaton@pinnacleclassicalacademy.com. Mrs. Deaton is our administrator for this system and will assist you if you need help or to create a parent account. 

4. PE will be outside often. Students are encouraged to bring a water bottle and an extra pair of shoes. We recommend bringing a small, separate bag for dirty shoes.

5. Every Friday will be School Spirit Day. Students may wear PCA spirit wear tops (athletic eagle logo) with uniform bottoms on Fridays. Please note: Norris Merchandise is selling some PCA items with hoods - these items are NOT approved spirit wear. Per the dress code, students may not wear hoodies or hooded jackets inside the building at any time.
