Middle School Announcements for week of 9/8-9/12
Attention Middle School Parents,
PEAK is so excited to host "Under the Stars", a Semi-Formal Dance for PCA middle schoolers (6th-8th grade) on Friday, September 19th, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the K-3 campus gymnasium.
We are working on making this a very special dance, but we need your help. Below is a sign-up genius for items we need, along with volunteers that we need. In addition to the sweets and water that we are requesting, PEAK will be supplying additional snacks.

Entry fee is $10/student. We will have a 360 photo booth (which requires the use of a cell phone), a still photo booth for $5/each, and a best-dressed contest.
Dance is only for PCA 6th, 7th, and 8th graders; siblings and guests are not allowed.
Dress Code: Outfits worn should not show cleavage, lower back, or midriff. Skirts or dresses should not be shorter than 3 inches above the knee or have slits shorter than 3 inches above the knee. If not dressed appropriately, you will be denied entrance to the dance.
Dismissal Procedure: Please form a line as we do at our regular pick up at the K-3 campus by lining up behind the school. We will dismiss with walkie-talkies. Please do not come in early to pick up your students unless absolutely necessary. Students will not be permitted to leave the dance without a parent/guardian picking them up.
Please reach out to PEAK at PEAK@pinnacleclassicalacademy.com if you have any questions.
Thank you in advance for all your support! We wouldn't be able to host an event like this without your help!
Sincerely,

Medications- Click here for the form parents need to take to their child’s doctor.
Medication
If possible, parents/guardians should administer medications before or after school. If a student needs to take medication during the school day, parents must submit a signed Medication Form from the child’s physician. Parents/guardians must send medications to school in a sealed, original container labeled with the following information.
The student’s name and grade
The name of the medication
The amount of the medication to be taken
The time the child is to take the medication
Authorized school staff must administer ALL medication. Students are responsible for going to the office at the appropriate time to receive medication. Parents are responsible for the following: providing a signed medication form, bringing medications to the school, and picking up any leftover medications at the end of the school year. If your child attends an overnight field trip, the medicine must be brought to the school one week in advance of the trip, and a medication form must be signed for the trip.
Cold and Flu: We are already seeing absences due to illness. While sharing is caring, please remind your child not to share the following items and to exercise caution by washing their hands or using sanitizer on days they don’t feel 100%.
Drinks
Utensils
Make-up
Please complete all required back-to-school forms online. Please sign a paper copy and return the student handbook signature page to your student’s homeroom teacher. The paper is located at the end of your handbook.
Computer Fee: A $25.00 fee is collected from each middle school student for the use of their Chromebook. The money should be sent to the student’s homeroom teacher. Students will not have access to Chromebooks until after Labor Day.
First 5 days - Students are only allowed to change their schedule during the first five days of the semester. NO schedule changes will be allowed after that time.
PCA will be using Infinite Campus for its SIS grading platform again this school year. If you do not have access, please email adeaton@pinnacleclassicalacademy.com. Mrs. Deaton is our administrator for this system and will assist you if you need help or to create a parent account.
