Seventh Grade music class reviews many of the elements of music learned the previous year. Seventh graders pick up where sixth grade left off with music of the Romantic period. Some composers that will be studied are: Johannes Brahms, Hector Berlioz, Franz Liszt, and Richard Wagner. Music and National Identity will be studied and the semester will culminate with a study of blues and jazz.

Welcome to seventh grade music! I hope you all had a wonderful break.
We will begin our week discussing the expectations for this class and the topics we will cover. We will begin with rhythm reading and bucket drumming.
