Seventh Grade music class reviews many of the elements of music learned the previous year. Seventh graders pick up where sixth grade left off with music of the Romantic period. Some composers that will be studied are: Johannes Brahms, Hector Berlioz, Franz Liszt, and Richard Wagner. Music and National Identity will be studied and the semester will culminate with a study of blues and jazz.

Week of May 11-15
Last week we finished our study of Johannes Brahms. This week we will be reviewing for our final exam. The projected exam date is Monday, May 18. This date could be moved up to this week. I will let you know in class this week the exact date.
