This page follows my progress throughout my Resume Project.
Project Overview:
This project taugh us how to use HTML, CSS and JavaScript all together. The task was to create a page that would explain our qualifications/experience, much like a job resume would. We were able to independently implement our skills into this resume to make it our best project yet!
Procedure:
In this section, I will explain and display each step of amying my resume, from the HTML all the way to the JavaScript!
HTML:
Firstly, we created our HTML code, since it was the simplest. We displayed our achievements, extracirriculars, skills, and highlights. Since I'm not really an interesting person, it was kind of difficult to come up with these.
First HTML code
CSS:
Next, we created our CSS code, because our document looks really ugly like this. I couldn't decide on a color scheme, until i remembered one of my favorire ice cream flavors, Neapolitan ice cream! This ice cream combined strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate ice cream. It made the perfect color scheme. Later on, I positioned different parts of the documents like the tile, email, image, and footer. I think it turned out really pretty!
Second CSS + Html Code
JavaScript:
Lastly, we created our JavaScript code, because we needed to add interactivity into our document. For my resume, I decided to add it to my contact form. When you submit, it checks to make sure you fill in all of the fields, and once you have, it thanks you for your submission!

Without an Email
Without a Name
With All Fields Filled In
Hobbies Page
Hobbies Page:
Along with our resume, we needed a short page describing our hobbies in detail. I think that I did a really good job picking images!

SOUL Reflection:
Strength: A strength I had in this project was that I had previous knowledge of coding languages like CSS and HTML due to practicing them last year. This really helped me make my project funtional and look good.
Opportunities An opportunity I had to improve my project was that I could've given better details on skills, extracurriculars, and achievements. I think that doing that would've made my resume much more detailed.
Understanding: This project expanded my knowledge on CSS and HTML, along with teaching me a whole new coding language, JavaScript.
Limitations: A limitation I had on this project was that I wasn't able to code everything that I wanted due to time constraints, like more text on the hobbies page, or maybe shrinking my portrait to fit the page.
WISCR Reflection:
Well-Rounded: This helped teach me a coding language, JavaScript, so now I can make my web pages interactive, along with more knowledge of HTML and CSS.
Insightful and Critical Thinkers: I had to come up with code that worked and wasn't too complicated
Self Motivated: Since this project was independent I really had to motivate myself to keep working, and to keep my project up-to-date. Without self motivation, my project wouldn't be complete!
Clear Communicators: If I had a question, I either needed to ask Ms. Tran, or a fellow classmate with complete clarity.
Respectful Individual of Character: I was very respectful to fellow peers, helping them with problems and getting help from them as well.
