Skittle DispenserÂ
Description: The goal of this project was for our group to design and use a dispenser to dispense 5-10 skittles into a bin. The project was done using Laser Cutting, Micro bit, and TinkerCAD. We had 3 days to do the project.
Brainstorm: The Brainstorming was figuring out how to dispense the skittles. we decided to use a tube with a servo motor opening and closing at the end
Reflections (SOUL):
S- Some of the Strengths that I had were that my group worked very well together and were able t do wok out of the main class
O- An opportunity that I could have taken for this project was to make a more complicated project design when we were in the designing stage
U- This project taught me how to use laser cutting and micro bit
L- Some limitations that were present throughout this project were that we only had 3 days to work, the proportions were hard to calculate, at the end someone took the wall of our project, and that the printers were always full.
WISCR: I think that the WISCR elements I showed the most was I, because I overcame many chalenges, but our group was still able to work together smartly.
Procedure: The procedure to make this project first to make the code for the Micro bit (Sahana did this). Then we found the right proportions for the box and laser cut three sides (Sasha did this). Then I glued the sides together. Then we worked on the inside mechanism. Once they were printed we put it all together and presented it!
