Box Cover

I chose for project 1 the box cover.

This project is where you and a partner make a cover for the box and wires using fusion 360 and laser cutting it.

The project requirements are that you must work effectively with Mrs. Tran.

Max and I went into Fusion 360 and we began to construct our design. We took inspiration from wooden and metal boxes. After some drafts we began to home into our final design; we used the laser cutter to make easch peice of cardboard to our liking. Then we took turns hot gluing each pieces together making our finally version.

Both photos are of us collectively working on the fianl draft with hot glue.

This is the design positioned on the wire box. A problem we faced was that the cover over the wire was uneven. Another problem we encountered was that wire cover was hand cut by Max.

SOUL Reflection:

• S:  We had a good Design, but we could've laser cut the cover.

• O: We could've made a drawing of the box.

• U: That we should used angles to support the box instead of hot glue.

• L:  We didn't have enough  supplies to make a strong box.

• WISCR C: Max and I could've communicated better that is the reason we didn't make a good looking box.
