Description: Today we used the "Pen" and "Broadcast" code blocks to make 4 different types of house. Each house has a different color, and type of building the house.
Instructions: Instructions for the "A bit about me" project
Create a new ePortfolio page for this project, and embed the shared project on this page, when done with the programming.
Create a new/blank Google doc on your Google Drive, and copy and paste the planning table below into your new Google doc.
Fill in the planning table with all the details (you can change it later, if you want), and then either
Copy and paste your filled-out planning table into your ePortfolio page.
Or, take a screenshot of the table, and insert the picture/image into your new ePortfolio page.
Or, embed your SHARED Google doc (with just the table) into your ePortfolio project page
We will do a round of Show & Tells - so please include content that you feel comfortable sharing in class, and that is G-Rated.
Suggestion: Create a sprite which represents you. You can start with a pre-existing sprite from the Scratch library, but you should replace it with a picture or sketch, somewhat resembling you, before you publish/share your work.
Decide on 4 (or more) personal interests/hobbies/sports/places/experiences (listed as “scenes” in the table below) which you want to share with the class.
All scenes, content, materials in your project should be rated G. Imagine your parent/guardian/grandparent is watching over your shoulder (in a nice way :), and fill out the planning table on your ePortfolio page with your personal information.

S: I used different methods to keep the user's engaged; such as secret buttons/easter eggs for example they could click on the Login guest account it would say error in Netflix font
O:It could become significantly stronger if I made my character unclickable which could glitch the fame also my charter looks like he lost his head
U: Used one photo for my character that had multiple frames of him walking resulting in a somewhat smooth walking animation. I also used over 6 broadcasts to make my code run smoothly .
L: My code is not organized well, I would suggest to MIT that they could add "dividers" into your code to help organize, also I'm unsure if there is command that makes my charcter useless unclickable. If clicking games/movies they all talk at the same time
SOUL Reflection By: Alex

I love how there are so many options that you can choose, it really adds more interaction for the user. Each scene has 2 or more options that can lead to different outcomes.
I like the idea you did for the travel scene. There is interaction with the user and it's very well thought.
O
You can maybe make it less of a one path story, where everything goes in a sequence and instead make it more free choice, where users can decide where they want to go for example if someone wanted to see the travel scene again but didn't want to watch all the scenes again.
U
I thought it was cool you asked the user their name, I wonder what blocks you need to use to do that.
L
It might be hard for a user to know where to click after the map/travel scene to exit. Especially if your not great with geography.
If I press all the movies, they all go at the same time which can make it hard for users to read the text.
