Time to finish up! For this part of the project you will turn your prototype into your final design using a laser cutter!

The front of the glasses are completely covered in paint with no brown paper showing.
Pure Blue, Red, or Yellow are not used.

Edges are SANDED
Hinges are made with an exacto knife between the frames and wings
Glasses are WEARABLE and able to sit on students face

Trace your prototype on NEWSPRINT. Make sure to include any holes for the glasses and any holes in the design.
This will be scanned by the laser cutter.
Either students or teachers will scan your design from the NEWSPRINT and then be cut from CHIPBOARD.
Please store your work on the WIRE DRYING RACK. Find your NAME on the individual rack.
When opening the layers of the rack. Open 1 - 5 layers at a time.
Use the sand paper to clean the edges of the laser cut chipboard.
Use the acrylic paint to cover the ENTIRE FRONT SIDE of your glasses.
Remember! You can NOT USE PURE BLUE, RED, or YELLOW. You must mix the colors.
Use a RULER and EXACTO KNIFE to SCORE the hinge for your glasses.
Use the TRANSPARENT PAPER, SCISSORS, MASKING TAPE, and SHARPIE to make lenses for your glasses.
You will need to take two pictures for this project and put it on your portfolio website.
