Instructions:

For this assignment, you will practice four different watercolor techniques!

Rubric:

2pts Rectangles - There are 4 rectangles made using the template, black sharpie marker, and are filled with watercolor paint.

1pts Labels - Each swatch includes the TECHNIQUE & COLOR.

4pts Technique - Each swatch is completed using the technique shown in the video.

1pt Documentation - Work is posted to students website.

2pts Mastery - An additional 4 Swatches are completed.

Use the sharpie marker and the rectangular template to make FOUR boxes.

You will need the following labels. You can use ANY COLORS for your swatches.

Example.

Blend Purple --> Water

Wet On Wet --> Red + Orange + Yellow

Blend --> Purple + Blue

Wash & Splatter --> Red + Orange

You have the option to use your masking tape to tape down your work.

Watch the video and use the SAME TECHNIQUES to fill the swatches!

REMEMBER TO USE LOTS AND LOTS OF WATER!!!

To complete the mastery portion of the assignment you will need to make 4 more swatches on the BACK OF YOUR PAPER. You can use any colors for the mastery.
