LAST WEEK: Finish grading your Capstone Project folders. Instructions below.
FROSH: Capstone Project
Have your students get out their Chromebook and open their Google Drive to show you their Capstone Folders. HERE is a helpful guide on how to grade, what to grade, FAQs and access the Google Form for grading. This is "due" on December 1st, but there is a grade period for entering grades. So if there are absent students, or you want to give students more time, please make sure to either enter your students' grades in Synergy, or complete the Google Form by the end of the grading period. Not filling out the Google Form, or not manually entering your grades in Synergy is an automatic NP.
Fall Semester Artifact Check - In your Fall Semester you will be asked by your Advocacy teacher to show artifacts for a given Graduate Profile Skill. The Graduate Profile Skill will be chosen at random, and you will be expected to be able to show the appropriate number of artifacts determined by your grade level:
Freshmen Year: You are expected to have at least one artifact in the Communication and Collaboration Graduate Profile Skill. This is the only year of the Capstone Project that does not have the skill chosen at random.
While you are checking the Google Drives, student representatives from various CTE programs on campus are going to pop into your room and review information on joining one of the CTE academies for next year.
