How to Register for a SchoolMax Family Portal Account


The SchoolMax Family Portal Registation Instructions video and the SchoolMax Registration Written Instructions (in English and in Spanish) contain step-by-step instructions for registering for a Family Portal account. After viewing the video, click the Family Portal Registration Link to register your account. You MUST provide an email account that will serve as your username. If you do not have an email account, you can create a FREE email account by using Gmail, Outlook, ProtonMail, AOL, iCloud Mail, Yahoo! Mail services.


Please keep in mind:  While you can access SchoolMax from a mobile device, you cannot register a new account using a mobile device. You MUST use either a laptop or desktop computer to register your account.


Also keep in mind that the password you use MUST be at least 8 characters, contain at least 1 number and no double digits (i.e., 11, pp, ss).


After you register your Family Portal Account, you will receive an email as seen below from oim.service@pgcps.org.
