We hear and see a lot being said, and with so much change happening, it’s hard not to notice the unlawful things unfolding on media. There’s a flood of resources out there, but in times like these, it’s tough to know who to trust. Please, find your support, your allies, and lean on each other.

"We advise clients to always carry paper copies of important documents related to their pending applications or status, as well as digital copies on their phone. Do not rely solely on digital copies, as your phone could be seized. For example, you could carry your birth certificate or passport card with you, and have photos of other key documents on your phone.
If you are detained despite showing proof of U.S. citizenship, you can contact any immigration attorney, and they will be able to assist in getting you released. It may help to write down the phone number of a law office and keep it with your ID documents for quick access.
Do not sign anything presented by immigration officers without first requesting a lawyer. If you are detained, ensure your immigration attorney refers you to a civil rights attorney who can help you pursue legal action.
You don’t need a full consultation, just a contact number or a recommendation for a reliable immigration law office."
