Practicum:
As part of the major requirements, students fulfill 5 credits of required Practicum I by selecting experiences from a wide range of community organizations and social service agencies, preschool and child-care programs, schools, and early intervention settings. A 5 credit Practicum II is completed at an approved community agency or educational institution. The CYFS practicum coordinator assists in the selection and scheduling of practicum, with consideration of coursework, previous professional experience, and career goals. More Info.
