The Visioning Workshop was an in-person event that explored community sentiment and potential design attributes for the intersection and the surrounding area. The event introduced basic design principles and gathered community feedback to inform the design process. Interactive materials were used to encourage participants to think creatively about redesigning the space.
Confluence Planning + Design and the Cully Coalition provided all necessary materials and facilitated discussion, questions, and general feedback. Special thanks to Love City Church for graciously hosting the event.
The event was open to the general community–anyone who lives, works, or plays in the Cully neighborhood.

The design charrette featured three design concept alternatives, allowing Confluence Planning + Design to assess community preferences and co-iterate on the options. The event involved hands-on, in-depth group discussions to capture targeted, specific feedback for each design option, which informed the final recommendation.
