Humberview is proud to offer a four-year Vocal Music program for our students. They study a wide variety of vocal music, including Broadway, jazz, Art Songs, Folk songs from around the world and popular music. While our program generally follows the Royal Conservatory of Music program, we place equal focus on choral singing, performing as a choir at numerous school and community events throughout the semester.

No formal training is required! Just a passion for, or even an interest in singing is all you need.

Grade 9 Students should sign up for AMV 1O0. Grade 10 students should take AMV 2O0 (and may take it even if they were unable to take it in Grade 9). Grade 11 students should take AMV 3O0 and Grade 12 students should take AMV 4M0.

Please note that the Grade 12 course is a Mixed-Level course, and counts toward both College and University acceptances. Because of this, you must have a previous years' experience in the AMV program to enrol in AMV 4M0.
