This is a part of assessment Objective 4 'Review'. You are required to show a HIGH LEVEL of insight and self-awareness.
Your work is not always perfect... the examiner wants you to know those aspects that could be improved…
-Did you achieve all your aims? (Go back to what you wrote on the Project Proposal Form)
-To what extent did you answer the question?
-To what extent did the 'finding out' process go according to plan?
-Have you learnt the skills you wanted?
Evaluate the project
What were the limitations of your methodology (e.g., question badly expressed... too narrow? or too wide? Lack of relevant / reliable sources found, primary research absent or could be improved..etc.)
What were the limitations on your own interpretation of what you read or found? (e.g. didn't know enough about biology / philosophy / ethics / research methods at the beginning of the project).
Evaluate your project management
What have you learnt about the way you set about the project (e.g. had too many competing obligations & left starting too late, ended up writing the research and discussion at the same time...etc)
Explain and justify what you would do differently next time. (e.g. next time I would stick more closely to my project plan because..., next time I would start with books rather than websites because..., next time I would use a focus group instead of questionnaires because..., next time I would do more initial research before settling on my question because...)
CLEAR & PERCEPTIVE CONCLUSIONS ABOUT YOUR RESEARCH & YOUR WRITING are required.
