The Student Success Center program helps students in grades K – 8 improve their grades and subject comprehension. Student Success Centers are available at 10 branches.
Students who participate in the program receive homework assistance and/or academic enrichment from each of our centers' staff in English language arts, math, reading, science and social studies.
Parma-Powers Branch is open (in-person) from Monday – Thursday, 4:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Many families post tutor requests on social media sites such as Facebook which are linked to Parma City Schools. Many times retired teachers, current advanced high school students, or college students may respond to the posts and offer tutoring services
Many college students tutor on the side to make extra money, or are required to offer tutoring as part of their degree program.
