The Parma City School District offers various opportunities for students to advance or recover credits throughout the school year or during the Summer. See below for available options and more information.

Credit Recovery is an after school program designed to help students who are deficient in courses required for graduation. Students must first meet with their School Counselors to discuss which course(s) they need to complete in Credit Recovery.

Valley Forge High School

Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 2:15 p.m-4:45 p.m. in the Media Center

Normdany High School

Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 2:15 p.m-4:15 p.m. in Room 312

Program Details:

Greenbriar Middle School (in person)

Tuesdays - Fridays

June 30 - July 24, 2025

8:30 am - Noon

Attendance: Students must attend daily until they have completed the course requirements.

Lunch and Transportation:  Students are provided lunch. Students living GREATER than 2 miles from Greenbriar Middle School are eligible for bus transportation. Students registering after 3:00 p.m. on June 7 will not be eligible for PCSD bus transportation and must provide their own transportation to and from summer school. 

Additional Information: Students will use an online platform APEX to work through the course and teachers will provide intervention, support, and monitor assignments and tests.

Summer School is free to families and students are able to register for one (1) or two (2) courses.
