This assignment taught me quite a bit about nature photography as well as capturing symbolism. My favorite photo if the batch is the first in the carousel, of the brown dog smelling the breeze, because I love the contrast between her and her lighter surroundings. These ideas were obviously inspired by springtime, but each in their own way. For example, you'll likely notice the blurriness of the runoff in the second photo, which is because I tried to create the effect of silky water using lower shutter speeds. My greatest challenge was striving for a variety of perspectives, as I'm naturally drawn to macrophotography. I think some of these images were more successful than others.
