This project taught me about how my f-stop measure creates depth of field and can make or break the focus of my image as it relates to both the image itself and the message, and also about the effect of levels in Photoshop. I was very excited on this photo walk; so unfortunately, although I got some nice shots, I did not adhere well to the theme of isolation and focused more on shooting just about anything with a low f-stop. I also was challenged by myself, in that I did not listen to directions and shot in manual instead of aperture priority for the better part of the walk. Once I shot in the right setting, I was perturbed by what I saw as a lack of control over my shutter speed, but in the end I got acclimated. With more time, I would have focused in more on the theme of the assignment and shot more pertinent images.

This project was the class' very first, and our task was to dabble in our first unit of the exposure triangle: f-stop. This project taught me how to manipulate my aperture by providing 3 set aperture measures to shoot in. My favorite of the 3 is f3.5, because I like taking photos that focus on one object. I don't remember any specific challenges I encountered on this assignment. I think I was at least semi-successful with this assignment. With more time, I would have tried to create more action in my images.
