Summer School

CREDIT RECOVERY

High school students who have failed a course required for graduation may wish to consider summer school for credit recovery to remain on track for graduation and/or to avoid repeating a full-year course the next school year. To access information regarding all summer school options, see links below.

Prior to registering for any credit recovery course, students must meet with their school counselor. The counselor will approve/verify the course(s) and examine the student's unique circumstances to help him or her progress toward meeting graduation requirements.

Educere Virtual Summer School

Counselors will meet students in June to discuss the course(s) they may take. Once the counselor documents the meeting, the student will be provided with the registration link to Educere. Students may take a maximum of two (2) courses in addition to one (1) quarter class (e.g., Health) for credit recovery each summer with the approved online provider, Educere.  The student or parent/guardian is responsible for all course fees. If a student registers for a course without prior authorization, he/she may not receive credits and will not be reimbursed for payments made to Educere.

Once provided with the registration link from the counselor, students are to visit the Educere website, select the course(s) approved by the counselor and complete the registration process.

NEW WORK FOR CREDIT

Interested students should access the New Work for Credit page of our program of studies for instructions and access to the request forms for Math and Financial Literacy New Work. For additional information, please contact your school counselor.
