Special Programs

Throughout the school year, the Office of School Counseling will share information with students about programs that will enhance their learning experience beyond the classroom, build leadership skills, and help them grow both socially and personally.

The websites below are for your information.  Students will receive application information regarding these programs via email during the respective academic year.

If you have questions about any special programs contact our Special Programs Coordinator, Ms. Daura Schucker

Summer Programs

Summer learning programs are available in every area of study from the arts and sciences to languages and athletics. They may be offered at colleges, museums, performing arts centers, and recreation centers. You can find residential programs in which you live in housing with other students. You can also find classes you can commute to. So, if you don't want to leave home, you can still take part in a summer program.

Review the TeenLife's Guide to Summer Programs which is a great resource to learn about summer program opportunities.

If your goal is to gain experience and learn new skills, remember that interning or holding a summer job can be just as valuable as taking part in a summer learning program.
