MTSS, also know as New Jersey Tiered System of Support (NJTSS), is a preventative and proactive framework that integrates data and instruction to maximize student achievement and support students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs from a strengths-based perspective.  The model promotes the early identification of challenges, equitable access, differentiation, and the use of evidence-based interventions and supports on a continuum that intensifies based on student needs.
