FINANCIAL AID NIGHT
PSAT: In the Fall, tenth and eleventh grade students are administered the PSAT, a practice SAT, during the school day. The purpose of this test is to prepare them for the SAT by utilizing the results to guide their prep. Students do no need to register for this test.
Students enrolled in an Advanced Placement course are required to take the AP exam to earn AP weight in their GPA for the course. Information for AP testing and registration can be viewed at the AP Exams at PHS website.
The State of NJ requires students in grade nine and eleven to sit for statewide assessments. Students in grade nine will be administered the NJSLA and students in grade eleven will be administered the NJGPA and NJSLA. Students and families are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the High School Graduation Assessment Requirement.
