This story unfolds in the Great Forest, a place made truly “great” by its hidden wonders, forgotten treasures, and the timeless lessons it holds. Who better to guide us through these lessons than the beloved characters of the classic Brothers Grimm tales?
At the heart of the story is Little Red Riding Hood, so named for the red velvet hood she wears—and adored most of all by her Grandmother… or so it seems. As Little Red journeys through the forest to visit her Grandmother’s house deep in the woods, she must decide for herself whom she can trust, and what she believes, especially when it comes to a clever Fox and a fearsome Wolf.
Along the way, she encounters a host of familiar and curious characters: the runaway siblings Hansel and Gretel; an adventurous Prince; three mischievous little pigs and their long-suffering elderly neighbors; a famous long-haired maiden trapped in a tower by her mother; and a lively assortment of woodland creatures. Together, their stories weave into a fresh and playful reimagining of classic fairy tales, reminding us that the forest—and growing up—is full of choices, surprises, and unexpected truths.
