Week beginning - Monday 13th October 2025
Take a peek at all the amazing things we've been learning this week!
To end last week, Year 4 took part in Hello Yellow, exploring the importance of mental health through creative and reflective activities.
This week, they concluded their health and lifestyle unit by writing persuasive letters suggesting changes to the school day—focusing on improving exercise, sleep or diet. Their ideas showed real thought and understanding, with many making passionate, informed arguments.
In maths, children explored area, calculating the space within shapes by counting squares. In PE, they demonstrated excellent ball control and spatial awareness during tag rugby, working on passing, positioning and teamwork.
It’s been a week full of progress, creativity and collaboration. Wishing everyone a restful half term—see you on the other side!
