Mr Moore's News Update
Dear Parents and Carers,
I write to you today as we celebrate World Book Day. The costumes look absolutely amazing and the love of reading has spread across the academy with children sharing their favourite stories, characters and passion for books.
Not only have we been enjoying reading this week, we have also seen our first ever Forest School sessions take place. We have a series of pilot sessions running this term which the children (and staff) have absolutely loved. It has been a long time in the making and we would like to extend a huge thank you to the PTA who did an amazing job fundraising to make it all possible (all of the equipment, resources and ground work was paid for following fantastic fundraising events). I would like to also thank the kind support of our community who have given their time, generous donations and expertise to make it all possible. We can't wait for the children to enjoy their new outdoor classroom!
On Monday and Tuesday next week, we welcome the evaluation team from the International Baccalaureate into school to come and see the children and their amazing work. Your children may spend time chatting with the team to share their opinions and experiences of our IB curriculum in the same way that they would on the walk home from school.
Yours sincerely and have a lovely weekend enjoying the beginnings of spring,
Mr. Moore

We would like to say how proud we are of everyone that acheived a Reader of the Week certifcate last module. #WakeUpWednesday is a campaign by the National Online Safety organisation. It's designed to help parents and carers stay informed about the latest online trends and platforms that their children might be using.
Every Wednesday, a new guide or resource is released, offering simple tips and advice on how to keep children safe online. These guides cover a range of topics, from popular apps and games to general online safety issues like cyberbullying and privacy. The goal is to start a conversation between adults and children about staying safe in the digital world.
We will upload these guides/resources here every week.
