Course Outlines offer a flexible, A-G approved option for families who want to curate their own non-sectarian resources and provide instruction, assessments, and grading.
The outlines identify required concepts and skills. Families work with their HST to determine how students will learn the necessary concepts.
If using an outline, families and HSTs should work together before the course starts to ensure there is a plan in place for meeting the requirements.
This curriculum choice is for homeschoolers who are passionate and committed to resourcing and aligning course materials with the outline.
It is essential for students using the course outlines to have a full-time learning coach. Courses are supported/monitored by the HST and managed by the parent/learning coach.
*Students wanting to take an honors, AP course must use an AG as is curriculum. We do not offer honors/AP courses via the course outlines.
*NCAA students need to use an AG as is curriculum and NCAA approved curriculum. Our course outlines are not NCAA certified courses.
