S2 Lesson 1

Week 1

S2 will be working on a project for the next few weeks that will cover Design and Graphics, it will include research skills, creativity, design, drawing, etc. So hopefully you will enjoy! I have attached this weeks lesson.

This summer you can make the world a better place by starting to recycle and convince the rest of your family to do so.

Find out what materials can be recycled create a poster to remind the importance of recycling.

Create your superhero - Part 3

This week you will be creating a city for your hero. What is the name of the city? And do not forget to add colours!

Create a 3D model. You could make it using tinkercad or just cardboard (could you use someting else you have in the house?) Are you making a model of your hero or of their special gears?

Tell us about the amazing adventures of your superhero creating a front page for the city newspaper. Could you add a picture of the hero?

Create your superhero - Part 2

This week you will be using the research you conducted lest week to create your own superhero costume.

How can you use the colors from your colours scheme to make an interesting mask? Can you make a prototype?

Can you create a logo for your hero? It could include the name of your hero, just the initials or it could be entirely graphic. Sketch at least 6 ideas and develop your favourite.

Use the template to draw the perfect costume for your hero!

Create your superhero - Part 1

This week you will start creating your own superhero.

The first step will be to research existing superheroes, their logos and the colour scheme of their masks and costumes.

Then you will be asked to start identifying your own hero features and colour scheme.

Next week we will be working on the hero mask and logo.

Have fun and remember to share your work with your teacher.

Be creative

This week all you need is a smartphone or a camera and tons of creativity.

Produce one or more photos where using perspective you create a surprising visual effect.
