The purpose of this document is to provide clear guidance on the standards and expectations we have as a school, as well as key teaching strategies and systems.

This document is designed to make your day-to-day teaching easier, as it will give you the direction and information required to plan and teach effectively, in a way that creates consistency across the school.

Consistency of expectations does not mean that each class is a mirror of another, but it does mean that our students will be given the same quality no matter which class they are in. The delivery, personality and unique flavour of your class will always be driven by you and your students (as it should be!) but the standards and expectations should not change across the school. This provides our students and community with a shared understanding of what they are being provided by us as a school, and also provides peace of mind that every teacher is working hard to deliver a certain standard of teaching to their children.

It is very important to our organisation that each teacher has a high understanding of this document.
