Course Description
Students' attention levels are high when they use digital devices, but how can we move them to an equally high level of commitment to their learning tasks? Author Liz Kolb's extensive research into this question led to the development of the Triple E Framework, in which the learning goal - not the tool - is the most important element of a given lesson. Understanding how students learn is built into the framework, which is designed to help teachers make strategic technology choices and instructional decisions based on the learning goal and the science of learning. This study offers readers an overview of the framework, a compelling format through which to apply the research and strategies tied to the framework, and authentic lessons designed by K-12 teachers to meet all elements of the Triple E Framework.
