TikTok’s Celebrity Hairstylist Scandal

If you’re on TikTok as much as I am, then I’m sure that by now you have heard of the stylist @Hairby_chrissy. In 2020 and 2021, Chrissy Rasmussen went viral for doing the hair of many famous influencers like Avani, Nessa Barrett, and Dixie D’Amelio. She’s been around for years, but a few days ago her account blew up for all the wrong reasons.

A user with the name @notfamous808 recently uploaded a video to TikTok talking about her experience at the salon which is called the Habit Salon. She went to get her hair lightened, but noted that she felt like her hair didn’t look any different. It was disappointing, but that wasn’t even the main issue at hand. @notfamous808 was more upset over the overall cost of the service.

A unique thing that the Habit Salon offers is multiple stylists doing your hair, not necessarily Chrissy herself. @notfamous808 knew this going into the appointment but didn’t realize how expensive this actually was going to be. She posted the receipt she received after the service, and she paid $4,216.61 for the total cost. That amount is absolutely ridiculous for just getting your hair done. Typically when someone gets their hair lightened, it costs no more than a few hundred dollars at most. The fact that this appointment was over $1,000 shocked millions of viewers.

The one thing that stunned most viewers was the amount that was charged for “Chrissy Service.” Yes, the customer was charged by Chrissy for touching her hair for no more than 60 seconds. And the funniest part? It was the majority of the total price. @notfamous808 was charged $2,974 just from Chrissy only touching her hair for a brief moment. She was also charged for all of the shampoo, detangler, and other treatments used on her hair, which accumulated to a few more thousand dollars.

As of right now, Chrissy has not spoken up about the situation. She has reposted a few older videos and continues to stick with her usual content, but she has not addressed anything. A few other Tik Tok users have come forward talking about their bad experiences with the salon. Right now, Chrissy’s business is at stake.

Car Crashes Into Local Arby's

A car has crashed into the side of a local Arby's. As crazy as it seems, I am not making this story up, the fact that someone drove their car into a local fast food restaurant is completely surreal.

The Arby's at the SouthPark Mall complex were having an ordinary day until they heard commotion by their main entrance. Witnesses looked over in horror to see that a red Chevrolet sedan had driven over the sidewalk and crashed into the restaurant's side. Nobody was injured in the accident at the restaurant but everyone was pretty stunned.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, November 18th past 2 in the afternoon. Police and emergency responders, as well as the local news, were on the scene within minutes. Some laughed at the absurd sight whilst many other responders were left dumbfounded.

Luckily for the locals, owners, and future repair crew, the car had stopped before it fully went through the front entrance windows. The car only caused minor damage against the side of the building, cracking several windows and damaging the base of the building.
