The Fair Food Program is a legally binding agreement between the CIW and participating buyers and growers. It reinforces two crucial provisions: the Fair Food Premium and the Market Enforcement of the Fair Food Code of Conduct. Participating buyers commit to pay the Fair Food Premium on top of the regular prices of tomatoes and are required to suspend purchases from growers who don't comply with the Fair Food Code of Conduct. The CIW is still reaching out to other corporations, such as Wendy's. Food Chains is a video about the struggle of the Immokalee tomato farmworkers and their goal to add Publix to the Fair Food Program.
Milk with Dignity Standards Program is the formal agreement with Vermont dairy farmers, Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream, and Migrant Justice representing dairy workers. A code of conduct is agreed upon by dairy farmers if they want to sell their milk cream and products to Ben and Jerry's. "The premium supports farms’ compliance with the Code and rewards farms that comply."
