The Milk with Dignity campaign is focused on Vermont Dairy Farmers who supply the Ben and Jerry's ice cream corporation. Horrible working conditions, low pay, long hours, and dangerous job tasks were documented and detailed by the Migrant Justice and in 2017, Ben and Jerry's agreed to participate in the Milk with Dignity Program. The latest update was on Ben & Jerry’s website celebrating three years working with the milk with dignity campaign.
"The freedom of movement is a fundamental human right, whether it’s the right to cross a border in search of a better life, or to drive to the store without fear of arrest. No human being is illegal. Migrant Justice fights to secure the right to live free from discrimination and fear." Campaigns include #not1more deportation (supporting all immigrants in Vermont but particularly Migrant Justice members targeted by ICE), no más polimigra (ending local and state police enforcement of federal immigration law), and driving towards human rights (drivers' licenses for all, regardless of immigration status).
