Students will be assigned based on whether they are participating in Blended Learning or Distance Learning.
There is a possibility the student’s teacher may change depending on the teacher reassignments.
The instructional model for elementary students optimizes safety and in-person instruction by reducing the number of students on campus.
Each cohort meets for in-person instruction, either T/Th or W/F, for a partial day from Tuesday - Friday each week.
Each cohort participates in a Distance Learning model on Mondays.
For days when not on campus for in-person instruction, students participate from home via asynchronous learning from their teachers and independent learning including PE, Music, and Art as well as lessons focused on Social Emotional Learning.
Effort will be made to keep families in the same T/Th or W/F cohort.
Students in Special Education Special Day Classes will attend full days Tuesday-Friday, and will participate in Distance Learning on Mondays.
School bus transportation services including bus stops will be limited.
Face coverings are required for all bus passengers.
Face coverings will be required as per the California Department of Public Health and Santa Barbara Public Health Department.
Physical distancing will be enforced inside and outside the classroom setting. Student cohorts will not mix.
Students and staff must complete daily wellness screenings prior to coming to campus.
Childcare will not be available if we are in the Distance Learning Model.
