Political Studies/History II

What I'm proud of on this specific assignment is my ability to summarize The Great Migration in an orderly fashion; going into detail as to what occurred, which primary group of people were effected-being African Americans, and the ordeal of migrating to the North. 

On this assignment me and my fellow classmates worked individually role-playing as people who were involved in the Tulsa Race Riots. I think that where I went wrong on this assignment is that I didn't give a short summary as to who my person was and what happened, giving key details about my character and what they did; this caused my not to have enough time to answer the questions 1-10 myself. 

This assignment tasked me with reading a passage on America's and the FDR's response to the genocide of Jews widely known as the Holocaust, after reviewing the reading we were tasked with answering multiple questions on subject. This assignment was a team effort, meant to be worked with the members at my table. The areas in which I am proud of on this assignment is that my group was able to efficiently answer each question quickly, giving good reasoning and tying evidence into our answers. 

This assignment tasked me with writing a narrative story on someone whether it be African Americans, Asian Americans, Women, or Mexican Americans who is being impacted by the Great Depression. It was meant to be done individually, with me choosing to write about an African American family during the Great Depression. I think that I can grow on this by being more specific and direct as to who is speaking and I could also do better in citing my evidence in APA citations. 

On this assignment I was tasked with reviewing a video on the Warsaw Pact as well as NATO-The North Atlantic Treaty Organization and answering the following questions efficiently, this assignment was meant to be done individually.  The areas I'm proud of on assignment is my ability to understand the main idea of the video and key points in which will help to answer the questions, and in my final response in the written task I was able to explain the differences between NATO and the Warsaw Pact as well as the comparison between them while keeping it short and simple. 

On this assignment I was task with reading an article revolving around the Vietnam War, using the informational text provided to us to accurately answer the following questions. This assignment was tasked for us to do individually and assessed students on their ability to answer questions in the little amount of time given to them. The areas in which I struggled on were some of the questions (excluding the final written task) which I had difficulty answering and giving evidence for, lowering my score. What I would have done differently is take more time in giving my responses.

On this assignment I was tasked with writing three detailed paragraphs on the subject of COINTELPRO, letters made in offense of black organizations attempting to make a stand to racism and end it. This assignment was tasked as individual work and I had to use seven of the previously read documents on COINTELPRO.  I think that I can improve on this assignment by using more of the resources, I used very little of my resources which lowered my overall score on the assignment. I can use more sources next time that corresponds with my message I'm trying to convey. 

On this assignment I was tasked with reading numerous documents revolving around Rosa Parks and the Montgomery Bus and answer questions about it. This assignment was meant to be worked on as a group with my table-members. Why this assignment to me was a glow is because I was able to efficiently respond to the questions about the Montgomery Bus through my sources and in the final writing prompt I gave a detailed paragraph as to why the Montgomery Bus Boycott was effective using evidence from the sources given to me.
