On this assignment, I was tasked with creating a unique story relating to the Silk Road.  To demonstrate a proper understanding of the topic, the story required the use of 10 specific words from the unit's vocabulary. I'd put a great amount of effort in establishing a narrative using the vocabulary words and the process, while tedious, was necessary. For the story, I'd use the famous traveler  Marco Polo, the narrative focused on his journey through the Silk Road and his findings. I'm proud of this work due to the creativity of the story and important detailing included, my use of the vocabulary words helped demonstrate better understanding of the topic and resulted in a high-score. 

This assignment was tasked simply as homework and required knowledge on an event that effected Mexico specifically.  For my assignment the topic was already selected and I'd write about Mexico's war of independence. Despite my ability to successfully write on the event, I could've done better in wording  the sentences and found myself struggling to properly report on Mexico's fight for power. The formatting could also be improved and rather then clumped together double spacing should be applied, creating an appealing and digestible array of text. 

On this assignment I was tasked with writing a 1500 word essay highlighting black relevance using the prompt, how does AI technology influence the pursuit of racial justice in our society? The essay was tasked to each student individually as a test grade, upon incompletion would result in a highly negative effect on their grade. In this assessment I was able to successfully highlight how artificial intelligence can be utilized in raising awareness and inclusivity to the black community-the structure and flow of my essay is clear and smooth, allowing the viewer of a better understanding and overall message of my essay, something that I am proud of. The evidence is heavily supported and ties into the previous statement. 

On this quiz me as well as my peers were assigned to write an essay on the Mexican Revolution, focusing on its overall purpose and what it contributed to society. A short amount of time was given until the assignment was due, within a class period to be precise, assessing students on their time management skills and ability to work under pressure. Unfortunately I was not able to finish my essay, the assignment incomplete. Poor management skills and an unclear understanding of the text provided lead to this and in the future I need to work on those aspects to improve in writing. 

After reviewing information on numerous philosophers and their historical background, I was tasked an assignment counting as a test. The test required me to make connections between the philosopher's ideals and what historical event they were involved in. Through my process in finding information on each of the philosophers, I'd found it hard to make connections and as a result added unsupported information. I could've done better in finding relation between the ideal and historical event, providing supporting evidence to back up the claim. 

During Black History Month, an especially important time to celebrate black people. On this assignment I was tasked with writing an analysis on the specific poem I'd chosen for Black History Month. The poem I'd selected was "Hurricane" by Yona Harvey, through my analysis I'd demonstrate my ability to grasp the purpose of the essay and think critically. I'm proud of my ability establish the underlying meaning of the essay in my analysis, pointing out the use of rhetorical elements and drawing connections. 

This assignment was tasked as an authentic assessment, meant to be completed individually. After reviewing the numerous lessons on the Cold War, I was assigned with creating a cartoon relating to propaganda during the Cold War, with the use of AI. The cartoon I'd created was of the Soviet Union overrunning the US and causing mass destruction. The destruction the Soviet Union caused is depicted by a growing fire and the polluted sky. The strongest aspect of this project is the detailing, the inclusion of important information on the relationship between the Soviet Union and United States and the spread communism allows the reader to understand what the propaganda poster is in opposition of. 

This assignment was tasked as an authentic assessment and was tasked to my group, failing to complete the task would result in a 0% and depletion of your grade. The assignment required information of the selected African country and how it was effected by imperialism/colonization. The country my group chose was Cameroon and while we'd answer all the questions, our group didn't include some important details and some parts were overlooked. To improve on the assignment less information could've been used on the slides, by cutting down on text it'd be easier for viewers to understand and wouldn't be overwhelming.
