Financial Literacy

For this assignment, we had to create a product, and had to pitch it. The thing that made this assignment unique was the fact that it was based on the Shark Tank TV Show, meaning that we were pitching to 4 different investors and we could choose the best deal. Me and my partner decided to go with a PC building business. We thought that technology was a good industry to get into as a entrepreneur, and we both had an interest in it anyway. This assignment required us figure out a budget for a buisness, what our target audience will be, why investors should take an interest in us, etc.  Although the deal I ended up taking was very bad, this assignment was still pretty fun to do. It allowed me to gain a perspective of what being a entrepreneur was like and what they have to go through to get their product out there. 

This assignment required us to research various stocks for different companies. With this research, we had to find various aspects of the stock, such as the volatility, financial history, revenue, etc. Some companies that me and my partner did were Chewy, Costco, and Intel. This assignment, although somewhat tedious at times, was still fairly fun to do, as it was interesting to see what companies were doing well at the time and why.
