Holiday Box
In this project, we followed a story in which a client wanted to make holiday boxes for their family, and they asked you to make one for them. The client's criteria was that the box to be nice looking and high quality, and a constraint was that it could only be 8 inches long. It was pretty fun to make until I got sick and had to stay home. I was still able to finish it, however, this box is basically the bare minimum. I like the design of it, but the overall shape or form of the box was basically just taken from Google. I would consider this assignment a grow, however, I was slightly hindered by the cold I had.
Charmed I'm Sure
For this project, we had to select a partner, to which we then would basically interview each other to see what our interests were. We would then take those interests and turn them into a charm. My partner liked music, their favorite color was green, and their favorite shape was a star, so I made this. Its a star shape that's green and white, with a music note (quaver) in the middle. Overall, this charm is very simple, and my partner's charm was way better, but I still think it looks nice, which is why I think it's a glow.

Protective Case Project
In this project, we had to design a protective case for an earbuds manufacturer, or the client. Their problem was that the wiring of the earbuds kept becoming loose when people put it in backpacks or pockets. The criteria is that it must be easy to insert and take out the earbuds, as well as preventing wiring or earbuds from breaking. The constraints were that the case had to be made out of PLA material. After doing basic parts of the process, such as the design brief and design matrix, our team created this on Onshape. This end product is pretty nice looking, its round to prevent people from pooking themselves, as well as being easy to open, with it opening and closing with hinges. Because of this, i'd consider this assignment a glow.
Black History Month Poster
This assignment was pretty simple . We had to create a poster for a black person who influenced engineering. I decided to select Granville T. Woods, considering he made the Incubator and a Multiplex Telegraph. The only thing I don't really like about this assignment is the way it was formatted, I think its confusing for the reader, since they would most likely not know where to start. The poster itself sort of looks bland too. For that, id consider this a grow.

Reuse, Recycle, Repurpose, Reduce Project
This project was probably the most interesting one I did in my Freshmen Year. For this one, we had to make some sort of toy or tool out of recyclable materials, such as cardboard and plastic. Me and my partner decided we were going to make a toy robot. The robot is mostly made out of cardboard, and has very limited movement, only being able to move his arms. Because of this, it also doesn't move at all, and is more like a action figure. You can move his arms by either just holding onto his arms, or using the little knobs made with bottle caps to rotate it. He also have a little crown just because in the concept sketch, I for some reason had him have one. Overall, this assignment was really fun to do and helped me to be more creative with my project, which is why i'd consider this assignment a glow.
Types of Plastic Presentation
In this assignment, we had to make a presentation explaining different types of plastics, and what their used for and other things like if its recyclable and how long it takes to decompose. This assignment was just sort of boring to do I also think that this presentation is formated badly, since it has large bodies of text instead of bullet points. The slide also looks, in my opinion, kinda bad. For these reasons, id consider this assignment and grow.
