Glow - Rhetorical Situation of Enrique's Journey
This assessment was created to test our skills in using rhetorical analysis by using Enrique's Journey, which we had read over the summer. We were assigned to create a slides presentation by utilizing the steps of rhetorical analysis, or SOAPS. This assignment was overall fairly simple and not that challenging to complete, but it was still at least one of the more interesting assignments I did in MP1. It was also one of my better test grades as well, so that was also a positive.
Grow - Tools of Persuasion in Enrique's Journey
This assignment was very similar to the Rhetorical Situation assignment, the main difference being that this was an analysis of Tools of Persuasion, which are things such as Ethos, Pathos, and Logos. Although this assignment wasn't hard or anything and I ended up getting a decent grade, it just simply wasn't that interesting to do and it was definitely till one of the lower grades I had gotten during the marking period.

Glow - "I Have a Dream" Rhetorical Analysis
This assignment was a rhetorical analysis based on Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream" speech. This assignment was to help us identify rhetoric, with it revolving around how Martin Luther king used the three appeals, or at least two of them. This assignment wasn't the most enjoyable or interesting one I did during the marking period, but it was definitely one of the most important. It was on the only test that I took during the marking period, so getting a good grade on it was very important. Although I wish I had gotten a better grade then just a 85, I'm still fairly content with it. I also think that I brought up some good points during the essay, even if I wasnt able to convey them to the best of my ability. Overall, i'd consider this assignment a glow due to it being very important and it helping my grade in a substantial way (somewhat).
Grow - Rhetorical Terms #3
This quiz was a, as the name says, vocabulary quiz. The words weren't revolved around anything specific and were most just words that were important when in regards to writing. I ended up getting a 70 on the test however, which lowered my quiz grade average drastically. A way I can grow from this would be to take studying about the words more seriously, as I have a problem of studying last minute, which ends up backfiring on me since I do it so hastily.

Glow - Final Literacy Narrative
After reading Trevor Noah's "Born a Crime" book, which was a literacy narrative, we were assigned to create our own literacy narrative about something that was related to reading or something else that was educational. I did some thinking about it, and I remembered that I used to make comic books in elementary school. With this memory, I decided to make the literacy narrative focused on my drawing journey, and how drawing has affected me throughout my life. Overall, this is probably one of my favorite assignments I've done in stem in general. Just letting myself write what I wanted and basically just explaining my life felt so nice to do for some reason. This is also evident due to the fact that the entire narrative is 5 pages. The one thing I would change about it is that it feels like it drifted a bit too far from a narrative, and more into an auto-biography. Some things I would do to try and change this would be to add more dialogue. Other than that though, this assignment was one the most enjoyable I've done probably and I hope to do more like it because generally I enjoy writing more personal things or stories rather than informational essays most of the time, even if some of ideas I come up with in narratives are some what lackluster.
Grow - Mid-Term Rhetorical Analysis.
This assignment was a rhetorical anaylysis. Although I dont remember the exact details, it atleast had something to do with immigration and racism in america. This assignment was done late by me, so I tried rushing it out quickly since I was crunched on time by the end. Somethng I woudl do to improve would be to, of course, doing the assignment on the day its assigned, but also managing my time better.

Glow - Born A Crime Final Project
After finishing "Born a Crime" fully, we had to create one final project for it. The final project revolved around creating a poster about the book, and we had 5 different options to choose from. I ended up choosing option 3, which was about the creativity found in the book, such as the humor, imagery, figuartive language, etc. Although I havent had that many oportunties to draw in this class, and this year in general, this assignnment was pretty fun to do. Something I wish I would have done would have been to polish the drawings a bit more, since some of them look really uncanny or just straight up bad. Other than that though, I enjoyed this assignment quite a bit.
Grow - Argument Terms Quiz
This quiz was fairly straightforward, with me taking a lot of assignments like it in the past. The only difference was that this was argument terms. This assignment should have been simple, but due to poor planning on my part, I ended up getting a 60 on this assignment, which didn't tank my grade but still lowered my quiz grade overall. The obvious answers to correct this assignment would just be sure to study more thoroughly in the future, or else mistakes like his happen that end up messing up grade.
