String Orchestra is the primary class for strings players at Oak Park High School, including bassists, violists, cellists, and violinists. Musicians in this orchestra are all at various levels of musicianship: from beginners to advanced players. For this reason, the group plays music at varying levels of complexities, encouraging growth and leadership. Students take part in many concerts, performances, and events at the various Oak Park schools.

Performances outside and within school hours are mandatory
Coming to class prepared with your instrument, music notebook, and a pencil is a must
