Colorguard encompasses a variety of different skills and techniques, including:
flag technique
principles of body movement
fundamentals of classic dance
weapon technique - rifle & sabre
choreography
traveling/interpretive techniques

Do I have to audition?
You do not have to audition! Sometimes we have a dance routine we may have you do to see your skill set, but that's the extent of our 'audition' process.
Do I need any background in the sport?
It can be helpful if you have a background in dance or cheer, but it is not required. You can join with absolutely no experience whatsoever!

Marching Season (fall)
Includes normal practices and competitions + Friday night football games. We also do an elementary school tour where we go around to local elementary schools and perform a fragment of our show!
Winter Season (spring)
Includes normal practices and competitions. There are no football games and occasional Friday practices.

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Occasional Friday practices
Friday night football games (perform at halftime - only marching (fall) season)
