The award-winning Oak Park High School Marching band is an extremely committed group in the Oak Park High music program. They compete and perform in field competitions and parades and during the Fall Marching Band Season in addition to cheering on the Oak Park Eagles at every home game, performing a field show every single week. The Brigade, consisting of the Band and Drumline, provides an opportunity for growth and enrichment through very high work ethic.

Students become part of a tight-knit community, while engaging in a creative and fun activity. Membership in the Eagle Brigade also provides a remarkable opportunity to gain leadership experience. The marching band is largely a student-led group. Students learn discipline, cooperation, and responsibility in leadership positions.

Participation in this group is dependent on participation in a music class at Oak Park during the school day (Concert Class or Choir). It meets during the fall semester as an 8th-period class and earns PE Credit; however, freshmen must still pass the state fitness test as mandated by the PE Department. Weekly Practices: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday (3:30-6:00 PM)
Football games, weekend competitions, additional Friday practices, etc.
