Current Status:
Follow K-5 learning targets from the Wisconsin Standards for Information and Technology Literacy, as well as the American Association of School Library (AASL) standards for students
Facilitate Common Sense Digital Citizenship curriculum
Collaborate with teachers in various ways including but not limited to research projects, literacy activities, and student technical support
Collaborate with teachers to provide technology support, various resources, and instruction when needed
Provide instruction and assistance to students around using citations
Provide instruction on plagiarism and copyright practicies
Share and booktalk books that will engage students and encourage a lifelong enjoyment of reading
Possible Areas of Growth:
More collaboration with classroom teachers to build the library to classroom connection
Determine which learning targets are being met at the middle and high school levels, since not staffed with a certified library media specialist
