Collaborative Leadership

Current Status:

• Elementary library media specialist serves as president of the Village of Oostburg Library Board as well as member of Friends of the Oostburg Public Library

• Middle school library aide serves as the president of the Friends of the Oostburg Public Library

• Elementary library media specialist member of professional organization (Wisconsin Educational Media and Technology Association)

• Hold regular meeting between library staff and IT Department

• Elementary library media specialist serves on building Focus Team

• Reviews district policies and procedures in relation to school libraries, technology, and selection of materials and equipment as needed

• Elementary library media specialist, middle school library aide, and high school library aide all serve as the first line of tech support for each of their respective buildings

Possible Areas of Growth:

• Continue to strengthen collaboration with teachers and staff in developing and designing curriculum

• Establish more regular times to collaborate with teachers and staff
